Wine, Bees, and Honey!

Summer is here in full force! We’re so happy to see all the visitors, both local and from out-of-province, dropping in while on vacation, at the cottage, or one of our many beaches.

There’s so much to see and experience here on the South Shore, and we appreciate you making us at Petite Rivière Vineyards one of your stops!

Special events this weekend, we will be launching our Honey Wine at our Honey Bee Festival on Saturday.

Plus we will be at the Craft NS Halifax Waterfront Pop-Up Show on the Halifax Waterfront this Saturday, from 10am -5pm!

Honey Bee Festival!

We love the bees! This weekend, Saturday July 24th and Sunday July 25th,  we are launching our Honey Wine and having a Honey Bee Festival to honour these incredibly important pollinators! Along with our delicious, delicately sweet and off-dry Honey Wine, we will be featuring our plump, fully dry Mighty Maroon White Wine. We’ll have wine tastings and will highlight some art and products of Judith Orr, a local organic wine grape grower (Union Square Vineyards) and beekeeper: raw unfiltered wildflower honey, haskap jam, and gorgeous water colours of her bees in the form of  hand-painted gift cards!

We are continuing to harvest our lavender, so visit us to pick up some fresh bundles, as well as some lavender chocolate and lavender soaps!

We'd love your nomination!

The Taste of Nova Scotia Awards are back! If you enjoy our wines and ciders, as well as our venue, you can vote for us in the Producer and Product categories here: https://tasteofnovascotia.com/awards/. We are grateful to all our friends for your support!
